DetaiLED® today announces it has been named a finalist in three categories of the 2022 Digital Signage Experience Award (DIZZIE) for Entertainment, Corporate Environments, and Educational Venues. The projects nominated are Carnival Cruise Line’s Mardi Gras Atrium Moving screens, the 88 Kearny Street corporate lobby, and the Vue Orleans Confluence of Culture Exhibit. The awards program is presented by Digital Signage Experience (DSE) and honors visionaries from around the world whose digital signage installations and campaigns challenge existing standards and drive the industry forward.

The Carnival Cruise Lines’ Mardi Gras Atrium was perhaps one of the most challenging projects for the DetaiLED® team. Working with Carnival Design and Nautilus Entertainment Design, along with systems integrator Videlio, the teams were able to bring to life this awe-inspiring vision. Designing and building 16 individual screens to rotate and move into storage mechanically was one of the toughest problems to tackle, but the extra care and effort put in by the teams made this possible. Even on the high seas.




The project at 88 Kearny is comprised of seventeen 24 ft LED columns, each programed to respond to human presence. Working with design group Gensler and systems integrator Diversified, the teams created a unique installation with motion sensing technology to interact with residents and guests. The columns work in tandem with each other to create a seamless image inspired by local artists and creators.




Vue Orleans’ exhibit, Confluence of Culture, is comprised of a large-scale, curved 1.25 LED wall synched with gesture-censoring cameras to create an immersive and interactive experience. Bringing new life and a rebranded history celebrating New Orleans’ most notable cultural figures, the Confluence of Culture exhibit invites young and old alike to experience the excitement of NOLA’s history. Working with Cortina Productions and systems integrator 1220 Exhibits, this exhibit is wonderfully colorful, inspiring, and educational for all ages.
